Pilu Temple, built in Tang Dynasty (618—907), lies in Shangjing Village 12km to the northwest of Shijiazhuang City.In the Pilu Palace of the temple there are many excellent wall paintings, which were painted in Zheng De period (1506—1522) of Ming Dynasty. The pictures, painted with fine brushwork, demonstrate the history of mergence of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. On the walls of less than 130 square meters, the painters painted over 500 fairy figures. This album collects 217 excellent colored pictures of 122 groups of paintings. With pictures and accompanying words, this album is of great readability and reference value of historical materials.
