In 1973 on a drive way on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert, Stephen Briggs, a five year old Ten Pound Pom discovers he is cursed with two of the most malicious maladies known to mankind. He wears his shorts too high and he is sensitive. The first curse he deals with relatively effectively by pulling his shorts down to his knees. The second however is never far from the surface but Stephen endures it with the help of the three best things in his life. Kimba the white Guinea Pig, the scorching Pilbara desert and his wonderful dad Gerry. The "boy who could tickle clouds" is the hilarious, moving and joyous story of an English boys journey to find himself in the Australian Outback. About the Author:

Stephen Briggs lives in Oxfordshire and has been involved in the world of amateur dramatics for many years. Oxford Studio Theatre Club staged his adaptations of Wyrd Sisters, Mort, Guards! Guards!, and many others. As well as compiling The Discworld Companion, The New Discworld Companion, and, now, Turtle Recall: The Discworld Companion . . . So Far, he has also co-authored the Discworld Diaries, the Mapps, and voices the UK and US Discworld audiobooks.
